Buses connecting the airport and Rhodes Town travel several times a day, and a one-way ticket costs 2,50 €. The bus stop is located approximately 300 metres to the left of door 1 of the terminal. Journey time to the city of Rhodes is around 40 minutes.

Unless ordered and agreed upon in advance, don’t expect to find available taxis “”on command”” in the rural parts of the island.
Island fares range from 1€ within the city to 20€ for the most remote destinations. The city bus system also offers six different tours; details are available from the tourist office. If you prefer a comfortable ride over a crowded public transport, we recommend you to take a taxi operating 24/7. You will find taxi station at the Arrivals level of Terminal. They operate on a first-come, first-served system, and since Rhodes Airport is a busy airport, pre-booking your ride could be a smart move.
There is regular transport across the island all week, with fewer services on Saturday and only a few on Sunday. Pick up schedules from the kiosks at either terminal, or from the EOT office.
